haha maths is driving me nuts.
im speaking in hypothesis theory :D
and it has made my english so bad that i type theory wrongly 5 times.
Let y be the continuous random variable denoting the number of effective studying years.
Test Ho: u=16
against H1: u<16
at 5% significance level.
-> we conduct a lower tailed test.
Under Ho, X~N(16, 0)
Test statistic, Zcal= (0-16)/0
Zcal is undefined.
Thus we have sufficient evidence to reject Ho at 5% significance level.
p-value = 0
thus at 0% we can reject Ho. Thus, we can always reject Ho under all circumstances.
There is sufficient reason that u=16 is highly incorrect.
